Interim Management Achim Bartelheimer – Concise, in situ, and implementation driven. Interim leadership with a sense of responsibility. Complex projects, stagnating sales, or profound transformation – there are times when leadership is needed that transcends roles and titles. This is exactly where my approach begins: Interim management in engineering, program management, sales, and restructuring.
I take responsibility in situations where structures are lacking, communication breaks down, or current processes are no longer viable My goal: stabilize projects, structure organizations, enable growth.
With over 30 years of experience in line and project responsibility, technical depth, and business acumen, I am able to influence both operational processes and strategic objectives – not as a consultant, but as a temporary part of the organization.
I am a graduate mechanical engineer with many years of experience in development, production, sales, and executive management – both nationally and internationally.
My career has taken me from technical line responsibility to project leadership and on to the temporary assumption of entrepreneurial leadership roles.
In my role as an interim manager, I don’t act as an observer – I take responsibility: for people, processes, and results.
I speak the language of engineering, maintain on-site presence, and understand the dynamics of both crisis and growth phases.
What matters most to me: a clear stance, tangible execution, and communication that builds trust.
Technically demanding production ramp-ups, product relocations or industrializations require structure, clarity, and commitment. I take on operational leadership, coordinate interdisciplinary interfaces, conduct customer meetings, and ensure implementation reliability – with technical expertise and accountability for results.
Sales will be successful when goals, structure and communication align.
I build business units, develop markets, implement key account structures, and support sales teams on their path to manageable performance – with a focus on what’s feasible and close to the customer.
Change is not a plan – it’s a process that requires leadership, clarity, and communication. I step in during phases when organizations are under pressure: restructuring, transformation, turnaround. With direct responsibility, project management, stakeholder engagement and sustainable implementation.
When responsibility is required, there is no need for buzzwords – only impact. I bring structure to technical processes, clarity to sales systems, and direction to change. Always with a focus on what matters – and the willingness to take responsibility where it’s needed.
Whether it's an operational production ramp-up, strategic sales development, or critical-phase restructuring – each of these buzzwords represents a real project, brought to life in my Selected Case Studies.
